Comic Relief has run a viral challenge for Red Nose Day 05 and thirty agencies pitched ideas for viral games and movies. Inbox Digital was one of five agencies chosen to produce viral work that appears on the Red Nose Day website.

And the game that Inbox Digital released called Speedy Relief got an unexpected boost from Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles. He spent his whole show on Thursday 17 February talking about the game with his team and how their times were improving.

He said, "don't play this at work, cos you'll end up doing nothing and chucking your computer out of the window...it's really addictive and extremely irritating". Praise indeed.
The only problem was that the surge in traffic from his eight million listeners caused the Inbox servers to wobble a bit, but they managed to weather the storm and traffic to the game went mental. Following Moyles' programme, the game was played two million times within a few hours. After just four days, Speedy Relief had been played 10 million times and continues to grow.
Oli Christie, Creative Director of Inbox Digital says, "We're chuffed that we got chosen as one of the best ideas from 30 entries and hope that Speedy Relief comes first in the viral challenge. The mention from fatty Moyles was a great boost for the game and gave Speedy Relief the platform it needed to go truly viral."
